HIGHLIGHTED AREAS OF ACTION

Clarify

The interview serves to: crystallise the question, clarify what a desired outcome would look like, complete a context analysis, and choose the elements to work on or with.

Layout

Setting up the map; time, place and cost. Here we can choose to apply different coaching models like GROW or 3 Horizons, or use techniques of mediation in the case of conflict resolution.

Attune

After the initial read-out and testing, we can then move into an aligning or attuning phase, in the direction of ‘resolution’. As in any constellation, the facilitator is working with dialogue and movements or positional shifts, and their emerging understanding of the hidden dynamics at play.

Explore

We then move into the actual systemic constellation, and the main focus of the work, namely, seeing ‘what is’, exploring the strengths, challenges and dynamics of the system. This can be done with the real people involved, or using wooden figures to represent those involved.

This includes:

Gathering data and feedback from clients or their representatives using clean descriptions – helping the reps state their feelings concisely/in few words.

Exploring and testing the meanings of gaze, posture, initial configurations, emotional response etc.

Resolve

This will depend on the type of constellation and context, but it is obviously important to check that the client is in a good relationship with what they have seen and done, and to make sure they capture the key insights at this stage.

Ongoing plan

Summarise what needs to be done according to the chosen model structure from Layout stage 2. Here we provide an ongoing supportive role to ensure you achoeve your objectives.
